Step into a rewarding, full-time contract opportunity supporting K-12 students with diverse needs during the 2026-2027 academic year! Work onsite in a dynamic school setting near Salem, OR, where you will make a real difference in students’ lives through hands-on occupational therapy services.

As an itinerant specialist, you will travel between assigned sites during the school day, delivering individualized care and collaborating closely with teachers, families, and school teams. Additional caseload and assignment details will be shared as they become available, allowing you to prepare and thrive in your role.

Key Qualifications:

• Current Occupational Therapist license and certification for Oregon
• Previous experience working in a school-based or pediatric setting
• Strong knowledge of assessments, IEP processes, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions
• Ability to travel between multiple schools throughout the week (itinerant)
• Outstanding communication and organization skills
• Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for all students

Responsibilities:

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop goal-oriented therapy plans for K-12 students
• Collaborate with educational staff and families to promote student success
• Document interventions and progress using approved school district tools
• Guide and support teachers in implementing strategies within classroom environments
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and ongoing student reviews
