Competitive base salary Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) Paid vacation and holidays Stable, growing manufacturing environment Opportunities to work on advanced automation and capital projects Career growth within a global organization Job Details Responsibilities Design, develop, and support PLC-based automation systems Program, troubleshoot, and optimize PLCs, HMIs, and industrial robots Design electrical control systems for automated manufacturing equipment Support commissioning and startup of new equipment and production lines Configure and maintain variable frequency drives (VFDs) Troubleshoot electrical controls, communication networks, and automation hardware Develop control system architecture, documentation, and engineering standards Partner with Maintenance and Manufacturing teams to resolve equipment issues Support capital equipment projects from concept through implementation Improve manufacturing efficiency, quality, and equipment reliability Assist with industrial automation integration and controls procurement Ensure compliance with engineering change management processes and safety standards Qualifications Associate's degree in Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field required Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar discipline preferred 5+ years of controls engineering experience within an industrial manufacturing environment Strong PLC programming experience with Siemens and/or Allen-Bradley (Rockwell) Experience programming HMIs and configuring industrial networking Ability to troubleshoot PLC, HMI, DCS, and electrical control systems Experience with AutoCAD Electrical or similar electrical design software Ability to read electrical schematics, P&IDs, and process flow diagrams Strong electrical troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Preferred Experience Candidates with experience in one or more of the following will stand out: Industrial automation Robotics Hydraulic and mechanical control systems Manufacturing process improvements Production data collection and traceability Industrial networking Continuous improvement initiatives Interested in hearing more?
