PARAPROFESSIONAL - ANTICIPATED VACANCY

The Oceanport Board of Education has full-time (29 hours per week) 1:1 and/or classroom paraprofessional positions available effective September 1, 2026.


Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Completion of two years of study at an institution of higher learning or an associate's degree (or higher) preferred
• Meeting a rigorous standard of quality that demonstrates, through aformal assessment, knowledge of and the ability to assist in reading,writing, and mathematics instruction or reading, writing, andmathematics readiness
• Praxis Certification preferred

Hourly Rate: $25.34 - $25.94 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)

Benefits: This position does not include health insurance. Employees are entitled to sick, personal, and family illness days and will be enrolled in the Defined Contribution Retirement Program (DCRP).
