Registered Nurse - Emergency Care Center

Role Overview A registered nurse responsible for providing independent routine and complex patient care in a clinical setting. Demonstrates clinical competence, manages contingencies, and delegates tasks appropriately to care team members. Key Responsibilities Utilize the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients. Address patients' psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs in accordance with practice standards. Administer medications and treatments following protocols; monitor for side effects and effectiveness. Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately. Assess learning needs and educate patients, families, and caregivers; identify issues and resources. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred. Minimum of 1 year experience in a related nursing specialty preferred. Current RN license in the state of employment or a compact license. Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC; additional certifications may be required based on the specialty. Completion of onboarding, orientation, and annual competency requirements. Additional Requirements Attend orientation, participate in residency or orientation programs if applicable, and obtain necessary certifications within specified grace periods.
