Description:
Patient encounters per shift consist of 20-25 in clinic and 1-6 inpatient.
The facility has a total of 10 beds in the department.
The average number of deliveries per year is not specified.
Specialty skills required include:
Low-risk pregnancy experience.
FHR interpretation including NST, CST, and FSE.
Performance and interpretation of OB ultrasounds.
Routine delivery and vaginal delivery experience.
High-level decision-making for C-sections.
Experience with complicated deliveries and breech presentations.
Capable of managing multiple births and abruptions.
Repair of third and fourth-degree lacerations is required.
Minor gynecological procedures including IUD insertion, cystoscopy, colposcopy, and cryosurgery are required.
Surgical gynecology skills are necessary, including open and laparoscopic procedures.
Experience with major operative procedures such as ectopic pregnancy and ovary removal is required.
