Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A direct hire opportunity is available for a Staff Pharmacist at a new facility in Cambridge, MA, with a preferred start date in early December. This role offers a unique chance to take leadership in a growing pharmacy setting, with flexible scheduling designed by the pharmacist-in-charge (PIC).
Location: Cambridge, MA
Schedule/Hours:
- PIC sets their own schedule
- 1st Shift: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM (Monday through Saturday)
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM (Monday through Saturday)
Responsibilities:
- Lead pharmacy operations in a newly established Long Term Care (LTC) setting, ensuring compliance and quality patient care
- Manage daily dispensing activities and oversee medication distribution processes
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize pharmaceutical care and patient outcomes
- Utilize the Frameworks pharmacy system for accurate record-keeping and workflow management
- Train and support retail pharmacists transitioning to LTC pharmacy operations
Qualifications:
- Active Massachusetts pharmacist license in good standing is required
- Prior experience with LTC operations highly preferred
- Retail pharmacists with a willingness to learn and be trained in LTC pharmacy operations are encouraged to apply
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
