L&D (Labor and Delivery) Nurse in Maysville, Kentucky. This position involves providing specialized care in the labor and delivery unit of a 100-bed acute care facility. The role requires delivering high-quality patient care for women during labor, delivery, and postpartum, supporting their immediate neonatal needs, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Certifications: Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Intermediate fetal monitoring, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Years of Experience: 0 years minimum.
• Role: Registered Nurse (RN) in the Labor and Delivery Department.
• Specialty: Labor and Delivery, Mother-Baby.
• Position includes orientation on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month, with orientation conducted at Meadowview.
• Responsibilities encompass providing care for low-risk laboring patients, supporting mother-baby couplet care, and maintaining patient safety and comfort in a Level 1 nursery setting.
• Equipment utilized includes electronic health record systems: Meditech and Centricity.
• Additional notes: Must have labor and delivery experience.
• Dress Code: Scrubs in galaxy blue.
