Position Overview

We're seeking a

Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

to join our dynamic and supportive team. This role offers flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to deliver personalized, hands-on care. You'll work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to support patients through their rehabilitation journeyhelping them regain strength, mobility, and independence in the comfort of their homes.

What You'll Do as Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

• Provide physical therapy treatments as outlined in the plan of care developed by the supervising Physical Therapist
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises to improve mobility, strength, balance, and coordination
• Monitor patient responses to treatment and report progress or concerns to the Physical Therapist
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and techniques for continued care at home
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with agency and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care

What We're Looking For in a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Active Virginia PTA license & CPR certification
• 12+ years of experience as a PTA (home health experience preferred but not required)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently while following a plan of care
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach
• Experience with Home Care Home Base (HCHB) is a plus
