Join a compassionate healthcare team dedicated to providing individualized, high-quality nursing care for pediatric patients across various units including Emergency, Labor & Delivery, and Pediatric wards. This role involves developing and implementing personalized nursing care plans, maintaining accurate medical records, and ensuring patient safety at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and document nursing care tailored to patients from newborns to children.
• Encourage patient independence by setting care goals and involving patients and families in discussions about medical treatments, testing, medications, and self-care.
• Monitor and report changes in patients' physical, mental, and emotional conditions.
• Provide direct patient care and collaborate effectively with the healthcare team.
• Mentor and support new staff and students to foster professional growth.
• Adhere strictly to privacy and security regulations concerning Protected Health Information (PHI).
• Demonstrate unit-specific competencies within a reasonable orientation period and maintain ongoing proficiency.

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program is required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is strongly preferred.

Experience and Skills:

• Previous nursing experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, multitasking, and prioritization abilities.
• Ability to apply fundamental nursing principles effectively.
• Basic computer and keyboarding skills.

Licensure and Certifications:

• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the relevant state.
• Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through recognized organizations within 30 days of hire.
