Job Summary As a Clinical Nurse Coordinator, you will serve as the primary decision maker for clinical and managerial operations and workflow during a given shift. Responsibilities Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high quality, patient-centered care. Continuously assess the quality of nursing care services provided and operationalize evidence-based practices to enhance patient safety and quality outcomes. Assume leadership responsibility within the unit in support of the RN manager/director, including direct supervision of a portion of the staff, education and coaching, payroll editing, annual performance reviews, and employee recognition. Take on designated responsibilities that may rotate within one or more core areas: Quality, Safety, and Regulatory Preparedness; Patient Experience; Employee Engagement, Physician Satisfaction, and Culture; Fiscal Responsibility (including scheduling, overtime review, and supply management); Staff Development (including education/clinical competencies and Graduate Nurse Residency/Preceptor support). Qualifications Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date. Neonate Resuscitation must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date. Registered Nurse (RN) license required. Certification in Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date. Associate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in nursing. No travel required. Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
