Outpatient Physical Therapist

This is a 13-week contract position.

5x8 hours per week with a flexible schedule.

The Outpatient Physical Therapist evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans based on patient needs, goals, and physician direction. This role involves the delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients while ensuring the design of functional treatment programs that facilitate effective community reintegration. The therapist will also serve as an educator for patients, families, students, coworkers, and themselves.

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Utilize clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals for patient discharge.
• Document all care provided in accordance with clinic policies and legal standards.
• Participate in student programs by supervising and evaluating student progress.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and maintain licensure in good standing.
• Adhere to performance improvement initiatives to enhance service quality.
• Promote patient and employee safety in all aspects of care delivery.

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• 6 months to 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience.
• CPR certification.
• Active and applicable state licensure for physical therapy.
• No new graduates.
