We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to support customers and internal teams for a manufacturing organization. This long-term contract position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving order- and product-related issues, and takes pride in delivering responsive, accurate service. The role focuses on managing customer requests, coordinating order activity, and helping ensure a smooth experience across the sales and service process.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a primary point of contact for partner accounts and respond to customer inquiries with timely, detail-focused support.

• Enter, update, and manage customer orders across internal platforms while ensuring accuracy in order details and documentation.

• Prepare and send order confirmations, pricing responses, and availability updates to help customers make informed purchasing decisions.

• Handle service-related issues such as complaints, return authorizations, stock rotation requests, and allowance adjustments in accordance with company procedures.

• Coordinate expedited product requests and support new item setup activities while confirming inventory status and estimated ship dates.

• Research substitute products and recommend suitable alternatives using internal resources, product references, and company websites.

• Communicate effectively with both external customers and cross-functional internal teams to resolve issues and support consignment inventory needs.

• Assist with special projects, department onboarding, and training activities for new team members as needed.

• Participate in required meetings and maintain dependable attendance in alignment with company expectations.

• High school diploma required.
• Prior experience in customer service, sales support, or order processing within a detail-focused business environment.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and comfort using web-based tools and business systems.
• Experience with order entry, purchase orders, inbound and outbound customer communication, and general account support.
• Familiarity with CRM and order management platforms, including Salesforce or similar systems.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage data accurately across multiple systems.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills with the ability to address customer concerns effectively.
• Ability to maintain consistent attendance and work reliably in a structured team setting.
