This is a small practice — flexibility isn't optional, it's the job. Position Summary Full-time Medical Assistant supporting our provider team in a busy outpatient primary care setting. You will rotate across: Back office / clinical: rooming patients, vitals, chief complaints, injections/vaccines, EKGs, phlebotomy, assisting with in-office procedures, and other standard MA duties within your certification and training Front office / admin: patient check-in/out, scheduling, phone coverage, insurance verification, prior authorizations, referral coordination, and medical records Team backup: stepping into whichever area needs support on any given day Standard clinical duties fall within the scope of your MA certification — we will train you on our workflows, EMR (eClinicalWorks), and specific practice protocols. Requirements Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, CCMA, or NCMA) — active certification required Current BLS/CPR certification (or willing to obtain before start) High school diploma or equivalent Comfortable with electronic medical records (eClinicalWorks experience is a plus, not required) Reliable transportation to San Jacinto Able to work Monday–Friday, standard clinic hours (typically 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM) Strongly Preferred Bilingual English/Spanish — a significant portion of our patient population is Spanish-speaking Prior experience in primary care, family medicine, or internal medicine Familiarity with prior authorizations and referral workflows What We Offer Competitive hourly rate (based on experience and certifications) Paid time off A stable, family-owned practice with 35+ years in the community A small, supportive team that treats each other well Real career development — we invest in team members who invest in us Location Gupta Medical Center, San Jacinto, CA This position is on-site.
