Warehouse Associate

Insight Global is seeking a Warehouse Associate for a leading telecommunications infrastructure client. This candidate will support day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, organizing inventory, fulfilling orders, and operating equipment such as forklifts to move and maneuver fiber optic cables and coils. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and thrives in a structured environment. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with strong potential for long-term growth for candidates who demonstrate reliability, productivity, and a strong work ethic.

Compensation: $23/hr to $25/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Eligibility to enroll in the 401(k) retirement plan begins at employment. Additionally, employees in this role will have access to paid sick leave and other paid time off benefits as required under the applicable law of the worksite location.

Required Skills & Experience

Must-Haves:
• 1+ year of warehouse experience in an underground construction/telecom warehouse
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Commitment to safety and adherence to warehouse protocols
• OSHA 10 certification (active)
• Active forklift certification with hands-on experience
• Ability to lift and move materials throughout the shift
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to document warehouse inventory in excel or an equivalent online database


Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Plusses:
• Experience in a high-volume or fast-paced warehouse environment
• Familiarity with inventory systems or RF scanners
• Previous experience in a contract-to-hire role
• Ability to work independently and take initiative

Day-to-Day:
• Receive, unload, and organize incoming inventory
• Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing shipments
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace
• Follow OSHA and company safety requirements at all times
• Perform inventory counts and assist with stock management
