A "Server" is responsible for representing the Company by providing guest service that exhibits professionalism, attention to detail, and the desire to create a welcoming environment while living by our Core Values.

Here are a few examples of what it takes to be successful in the "Server" position with Piesanos Stone Fired Pizza:

• Provides highest level of service by adhering to all Company service standards
• Fulfills all job responsibilities in order to contribute to the mission of providing guests with a "great dining experience from beginning to end"
• Serves alcoholic beverages in accordance with Company standards and state alcohol service requirements
• Work directly with other team members and management to ensure all of the guest's needs are fulfilled in a timely manner
• Ensure thorough menu knowledge to assist guests' with answering questions; including food allergy issues, the daily food and alcohol specials and all food and beverage products currently available.

Key Responsibilities

• Arrives to work on time, in full uniform, and ready to own your section.
• Owns the full guest experience from greet to farewell by executing our Steps of Service.
• Greets every guest in a warm, enthusiastic, and genuine manner within established service standards.
• Guides guests through the menu with strong product knowledge, including handling food allergy questions.
• Takes accurate food and beverage orders and enters them correctly into the POS system.
• Delivers food and beverages promptly while ensuring accuracy and presentation standards.
• Maintains awareness of tables and guest needs, providing timely follow-ups and anticipating requests.
• Practices strong pre-bussing and section control to ensure a clean, organized dining experience.
• Suggests appetizers, beverages, and add-ons to enhance the guest experience and drive sales.
• Serves alcoholic beverages in accordance with company policies and state laws (including proper ID verification).
• Works as part of a team with other servers, hosts, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations.
• Completes all side work and end-of-shift responsibilities, leaving the restaurant ready for the next shift.
• Communicates effectively with management regarding guest feedback, service issues, or long ticket times.
