Details Intensive Care Unit setting caring for critically ill patients 12-hour night shift schedule (7p-7a), 3 shifts per week Uses specialized equipment including balloon pumps, CRRT, Impella, ICP monitoring, arctic sun/TTM management, Alaris pumps, and rapid infusers Cerner EMR experience preferred but not required Floating required to ED (not just ICU holds), Stepdown, and Med Surg with modified assignment Possible floating to Behavioral Health May be requested to float to Concord Hospital-Laconia or Concord Hospital-Franklin locations Requirements Active NH or Compact RN license required at time of consideration Current BLS and ACLS certifications required 2-3 years of ICU experience required; candidates closer to 2 years must demonstrate strong self-starter skills, varied care experience, and ability to work independently and quickly CVICU experience preferred Preferred certifications include TNCC, PALS, and CCRN RN Skills Checklist matching specialty required for consideration Additional Information Provide direct critical care nursing to ICU patients using advanced life support equipment First-time travelers will not be considered for this position Former permanent staff may return as travelers after a 12-month break in service Weekly orientation provided Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius for the standard rate; a local rate applies otherwise RTO must be submitted at time of consideration Three professional references required once committed, with two from leadership American Traveler Job ID P-749251.
