Location: Jersey Shore

Overview: We are a leading seafood wholesale and fishery company on the Jersey Shore seeking a hands-on team member with strong seafood knowledge. This is a junior-level, execution-focused role for someone who understands fish and seafood and wants to be actively involved in daily operations.

This role is ideal for a "doer" who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in quality, consistency, and getting the job done right.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily seafood production including cutting, portioning, packing, and labeling
• Prepare and stage orders for delivery with accuracy and attention to detail
• Handle seafood properly to maintain quality and freshness standards
• Support inventory organization, product rotation, and storage
• Work closely with the production, warehouse, and logistics teams
• Ensure all products are labeled correctly and meet quality standards
• Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and sanitation standards
• Help reduce waste and properly utilize product (trim, excess, etc.)
• Assist with basic order coordination and communication between teams

Qualifications:

• 13+ years of experience in seafood, fish markets, restaurants, or food production
• Strong knowledge of seafood species, quality, and handling
• Comfortable working in a cold, fast-paced production environment
• Detail-oriented and reliable
• Team player with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to follow direction and execute consistently
