We are looking for a certified athletic trainer for a private AHSAA school in Smiths Station, AL! The salary range is $45,000-$54,000 a year, and the job type is full-time.

Responsibilities

• Coverage of assigned athletic events
• Rendering treatment plans outlined by physician for injured athletes
• Assessment of injured athletes and proper referral to a physician when necessary
• Communication with parents, coaches, athletic director, team orthopedist & therapists
• Documentation of evaluations and treatments
• Maintain proper equipment and supplies for coverage of athletic events
• Contribute to a positive work environment and the overall sports medicine team

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in athletic training
• New graduates welcome

License/Certification:

• NATA BOC certified
• Eligible for Alabama state licensure
• Basic Life Support and AED certification
