Title
RN - Mixed-acuity Unit

Requirements
- Current RN license in the state
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience
- PCU/IMC experience within the last 3 years
- EPIC charting experience required
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required; PALS, TCAR preferred

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients in a mixed-acuity unit, including telemetry and stepdown care.
- Monitor and manage patients with diverse medical and surgical diagnoses.
- Administer medications and treatments as per protocols and physician orders.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and families about health conditions and post-discharge instructions.
- Document all patient care activities and observations in the electronic medical record.

Compliance / Notes
- Orientation: 12-hour orientation
- RTO (request-to-off) limit: 7 days max
- Scrubs: Any solid color
- Float: May float to designated areas as needed
