This individual will join the Information Technology (IT) Business Partner team and be the primary partner supporting the Boeing Global Service (BGS) division with a focus on IT compliance and support of the Chemical Warehouse in Coppell, TX.A successful IT Business Partner will leverage technical and business knowledge to ensure value added IT services are identified, planned and delivered to meet customer commitments and business performance objectives integrating all Information Digital Technology & Security (IDT&S) disciplines, products and services to enable business/program success.Position Responsibilities:Oversee and act as an internal consultant at a strategic/enterprise level between the BGS business and IT to understand priorities and develop a strategy to ensure business objectives are metLead the education of the Business’ senior leadership on IT service offeringsCollaborate directly with the business or function to understand problems or initiatives, and represent the business or function within IT at the highest levels to engage the right resources, explore alternatives and help deploy the right solution with first time qualityDirect the development and execution of communication plans, including status to leadership and to business or function stakeholdersOversee the identification of risks and impacts and coordinates with business or function senior leadership to approve mitigation plans or changes to commitmentsProvide input and lessons learned on IT processes, procedures, tools and techniques, and ensure alignment to quality management solutions for the business or functionAccountable for the dollars spent, funding, and affordability in support of their applicable business unit(s) or function(s)Collaborate with BGS partners to develop long term strategies, leveraging technology to meet business objectives and engage with IT partners to develop implementation plans within funding targets and aligning to customer commitmentsServe as the IDT&S advisor to the BGS team with a proactive approach to addressing business needsEngage across IDT&S disciplines and with the business to manage IDT&S finances/affordability, ensure performance to Long Range Business Plan (LRBP), and prioritization of IDT&S statement of workDefine strategies for new IT services to support business needs, lead in the development of business cases requiring IT-based solutions and track Return of Investment (ROI) for business initiatives (cost, benefits, risk)Serve as the voice of the business to IDT&SAdvocate for IDT&S strategies and initiativesEngage in the promotion of technology, innovation, business simplification and best practice sharing to create business value while leveraging the breadth of IDT&S capabilities and service offeringsEstablish and nurture strategic industry and vendor relationships while maintaining a forward-looking perspective that aligns with the business’s evolving requirements Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):5+ years of experience leading projects5+ years of experience functioning in a cross-functional environment3+ years of experience with identifying and communicating business requirements with cross-functional and/or cross-business teamsPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Project Management Professional (PMP) certificationExperience with maintaining an organized management system and prioritizing work statementsExperience with previous analytical, communication and problem solving skillsExperience working in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and/or Agile environmentExperience with Portfolio ManagementExperience with strong business acumenConflict of Interest:Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.Drug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria are met as outlined in our policies.
