Join our healthcare partner‘s dynamic team and make a difference in the lives of families. As a Labor & Delivery nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to mothers and their newborns in a supportive and collaborative environment.

• Provide comprehensive care during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs and fetal heart rates
• Administer medications and drips such as magnesium, insulin, and pitocin
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Educate and support patients and their families throughout the birthing process
• Float across all campuses as required

Requirements:

• Need 2 years experience in setting
• Experience in Postpartum, Mother-Baby, and Labor & Delivery care
• C-section and vaginal delivery experience, including triage
• Intermediate or Advanced EFM / AWHONN certification
• Active Iowa or compact/multistate RN license
• AHA/American Heart Association or ARC/AMERICAN RED CROSS BLS certification
• AHA/American Heart Association ACLS certification
• NRP certification
• Must have completed at least one travel assignment in the previous 12 months
