Developmental Behavioral PediatricianBaylor Scott & White Health McLane Children's Medical Center is looking for a Developmental Pediatrician BC/BE in either Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics or Neurodevelopmental Disabilities to join our team in Central Texas. The child development physicians and psychologists at McLane Children's Scott & White provide a comprehensive individualized medical and developmental assessment of children with developmental delay, autism spectrum disorder and/or behavioral and learning differences.Position HighlightsPhysician will be second in the groupOpportunity to provide comprehensive development assessments & care to a broad range of childrenOutpatient only with no inpatient rounding or consultationsPsychotropic medication management is optionalStrong multidisciplinary support from related specialties, including pediatric neurology, genetics, child psychology, child psychiatry, & rehabilitative care specialistsOpportunity to participate in lectures, grand rounds, research and quality improvement projectsOpportunity to work with pediatric residents and medical studentsLeadership opportunities existAcademic rank at Texas A&M College of Medicine commensurate with experienceAbout McLane Children's Medical Center: Our five-story McLane Children's Specialty Clinic is located next to our free-standing Children's Hospital. The hospital features include 115 patient beds: 51 private medical/surgical rooms, 16 private Pediatric ICU rooms and a 24- hour, level II pediatric emergency department and verified trauma center equipped to deal with the most serious pediatric trauma cases.
