Embark on a rewarding contract role as a school-based Occupational Therapist in a flexible part-time capacity. In this itinerant position, you will travel between multiple sites to deliver meaningful services to students with a range of needs, from mild to severe. Work collaboratively with educators and families to help students achieve their fullest potential and participate more fully in school activities.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active state license to practice occupational therapy
• Valid IVP Fingerprint Card
• Initial certification by the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy (preferred)
• Previous experience in a school setting is an advantage, especially working with diverse student populations
• Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills
• Compassion for working with children and a collaborative mindset

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and provide direct occupational therapy services to students according to their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student development
• Maintain accurate documentation and assess student progress
• Travel between assigned school sites within the area to deliver services
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations
• Support students’ functional independence and access to curriculum, adapting interventions as needed
