Title:- Packaging Operator
Location: Sabetha, KS 66534
Employment Type: Contract
Shift: 12-hour rotating schedule (8:00 AM – 8:00 PM)
Pay Rate: $16.00/hr
Orientation: Tuesday at 8:00 AM (30–45 minutes)
Job Summary:-
We are seeking Packaging Operators to support production operations by bagging and packaging finished products according to facility Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This role ensures product quality, food safety compliance, and efficient production output in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:-
Operate packaging equipment safely and efficiently
Package finished products according to specification standards
Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of assigned work areas
Follow all SOPs and contribute suggestions for process improvements
Identify and report safety hazards or product integrity concerns
Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards
Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals
Perform additional duties as assigned by supervision
Schedule Rotation:-
Week 1 (Team 3):
Wednesday–Thursday (8:00 AM – 8:00 PM)
Week 2 (Team 3):
Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday (8:00 AM – 8:00 PM)
Responsibilities:-
Direct workforce placement based on site needs
Ensure workers are present at assigned stations
Track attendance, sign-in/sign-out compliance, and PPE usage
Address and escalate workplace or staffing issues as needed
Requirements:-
Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a manufacturing environment
Comfortable standing for extended periods
Strong attention to safety and quality standards
Reliable attendance and teamwork mindset
Ability to follow instructions and SOPs consistently
