Job Description Description: \n Knights Mechanicalisseekingan experienced and motivated PlumbingMaintenance Technicianto join our growing team.Theideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to completing projects safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. \n \n What We Offer: \n \n $18.00 - $25.00 per hour, based on experience \n 40 hoursper week \n Medical, Dental, Vision plans \n Free Basic Life Insurance \n Short- and Long-Term Disability \n 401k Match \n Company Cellphone \n Paid Holidays \n Paid Time off \n\n \n WhatYou’llDo: \n \n Install, repair, andmaintainpipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and plumbing fixtures in residential and commercial structures \n Install waste, water, vent, and gas piping systems \n Read and interpret blueprints, building plans, and rough sketches \n Collaborate with general contractors, electricians, and other construction professionals on job sites \n Respond to, diagnose, and resolve plumbing emergencies \n Perform routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systems \n Install plumbing fixtures and related equipment \n Perform light construction tasks as needed, including carpentry, painting, plastering, flooring, ceiling, and basic electrical work \n Maintainaccuraterecords of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job \n Follow all safety procedures and building code requirements \n\n \n WhatYou’llBring: \n \n Skilled in the use of plumbing hand and power tools \n Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices \n Ability to read and interpret blueprints and rough drawings \n Familiarity with PVC, CPVC, PEX, cast iron, and copper piping systems \n Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities \n Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks \n Strong communicationand interpersonal skills \n Ability to work independently and complete projects with minimal supervision \n Basic math skills, including measurement conversions \n\n \n Preferred Qualifications: \n \n High school diploma or GEDrequired \n 1–3 years of experience as a journeyman plumber preferred \n State plumbing license preferred \n Valid driver’s licenserequired \n Must have own hand tools \n\n \n Working with our Company: \n Knights Mechanicalis a Mechanical Contractor and part of Ascension Property Services (APS) a nationwide group of specialty trade contractors with decades of experience innearly alltypes of construction, including commercial, healthcare, educational, hospitality, manufacturing, and institutional.
