What You Will Do:

  • You will contribute to the design and development of advanced DoD, international, and
  • Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) ATC systems alongside our experienced hardware
  • engineering team.
  • You will be accountable for researching and selecting COTS hardware solutions, ensuring they meet stringent performance and reliability standards.
  • You will demonstrate your creativity in electronics packaging design using 3D CAD modeling and thermal analysis, ensuring robust and efficient solutions.
  • You will participate actively in engaging design discussions and reviews, where your insights will shape the evolution of our ATC systems.
  • You will drive innovation through detailed design documentation, updates, and releases, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry standards.
  • You will spearhead prototyping and lab integration efforts, applying your hands-on expertise to bring concepts to life effectively.
  • You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, cultivating relationships and delivering on project milestones.
  • You will resolve hardware challenges, manage supplier transitions, and address customer requests with confidence and proficiency.
  • You will support production activities, including potential travel up to 10% to suppliers and/or to the Merrimack, NH Manufacturing facility, ensuring smooth processes and high quality outcomes.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major.

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience with PTC CREO (modeling and drawing) and Windchill (PDM)
  • Technical experience through prior internships or work experience
  • Some prior leadership experiences
  • Willingness and ability to support occasional domestic travel and potential international travel
  • Experience with mechanical design CAD tools
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint)

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
