Mortgage Loan Processor

We are currently recruiting for a Mortgage Loan Processor in Stamford, CT (fulltime in-office – possible hybrid in future). The Processor will work with borrower(s) and Loan Officers to obtain all necessary documents to complete the application. Must have mortgage loan processing experience. 55K – 60K Base + per file closed bonus + Benefits Package. Responsibilities Review all documents supplied by borrower(s) Confirm data in LOS matches supplied documents: Income, Asset balances and details of transaction Review and confirm that all documents are legible and acceptable to submit to underwriting Order third party supporting documents to process the file: Appraisals, Tax transcripts, Condo documents, SSN verifications Organize and prepare loan for submission to underwriting through lender portals Review approvals with borrowers, attorneys, realtors, and title companies Ensure application meets all deadlines: Mortgage contingencies, Closing dates Manage rate locks to ensure loans close on time Manage document expiration dates to ensure files are always up to date Meet turn‑times established by management on all files Keep all files up to date in LOS Keep Loan officer updated on all loans Coordinate closings with bank closer, attorneys/settlement agents and borrowers Requirements Must have previous mortgage processing experience Excellent communication and customer service skills Experience with Encompass Loan origination system Local candidates only. No sponsorship. Must live in commutable range to Stamford, CT office.
