Opportunity Highlights

• Schedule: Full-time role with 24/7 coverage, including trauma, spine, and general neurosurgical call; call is 1:4 with PA support.
• Job Setting: Newly built, state-of-the-art hospital with 20 operating rooms and Level II Trauma Center designation. Primary practice location on campus within a multispecialty practice featuring neurosurgery, neurology, PMR spine, and osteopathic manipulation medicine.
• Types of Cases:
  • Full spectrum of cranial and spinal neurosurgical procedures
  • Inpatient and outpatient neurosurgical consultations and follow-up care
  • Trauma neurosurgical management
  • Advanced neuroimaging interpretation (MRI, CT, and angiography)
  • Complex surgical decision-making
  • High-acuity patient management

  • Work alongside two employed neurosurgeons and five physician assistants in a collaborative, high-performing team environment.

Minimum Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible: Physicians must be board certified in their specialty, or board eligible and will become board certified within 5 years of becoming board eligible (no exceptions).
• Certifications: DEA, BLS Certification (must maintain recertification)
• Licensure: Valid Michigan State License (required at time of employment).
