Established (100+ Years) Premier Firm Seeking Associate Attorney for Corporate and Securities in Chicago, IL or Nashville, TNAn established firm with over 100 years in practice and a top-ranked Corporate and M&A practice is seeking an Associate Attorney with 3+ years of experience to join their Corporate and Securities practice group in either Chicago, IL or Nashville, TN. This Attorney will work on sophisticated merger and acquisition transactions for private equity firms, private companies, and public companies, with additional exposure to SEC reporting, capital markets, and corporate governance matters.Offer:Salary range: $260,000-$435,000 for the Chicago office, contingent on experienceSalary for the Nashville office to be confirmedHealthcare benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, available to benefits-eligible employees and dependentsQualifications:Holds a Juris Doctorate from an accredited law schoolMaintains active bar admission in a U.S. jurisdiction in good standingBrings sophisticated corporate experience representing private equity firms, private companies, or public companies in merger and acquisition transactionsCarries experience with SEC reporting, capital markets, or corporate governance matters as a plusDemonstrates excellent analytical, written, verbal, and interpersonal skillsPresents excellent academic credentialsResponsibilities:Represents clients in sophisticated merger and acquisition transactionsAdvises private equity firms and their portfolio companies on deal executionSupports public company clients on SEC reporting and capital markets mattersCounsels clients on corporate governance and shareholder mattersCollaborates with senior attorneys across the Corporate and Securities practice groupBenefits
