Ultrasound Technologist

Ultrasound: Perform clinical sonographic services by locating, evaluating, and recording pertinent anatomical, pathological, and functional data using ultrasound equipment to aid a physician in diagnostic procedures. Uphold the organization's vision, mission, and corporate values. Demonstrate understanding of and compliance with organization's policies, procedures, code of conduct and work rules.

Ultrasound

• Perform ultrasound imaging and Doppler studies to include abdominal, pelvic, OB/GYN, transvaginal, vascular, breast, and small parts (thyroid, testicular) to obtain optimum images for diagnostic evaluations
• Note velocities, measure structures, and document adequate clinical history as needed for accurate interpretation by the Radiologist
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Knowledge of Ultrasound scanning procedures and Tech notes paperwork completion

Minimum Requirements Ultrasound Technologist /Radiologic Technologist II

Education - Degree - Program

Bachelor's Degree (Preferred) - Ultrasound Technology

Experience - General (Non-supervisory) - Supervisory

Amount: - 2 year(s) (4 preferred)working as an Ultrasound Technologist plus 2 year(s) - 0 (years)

Type:

Must have both general and supervisory experience if indicated.

Credentials - Licensure, Certification, Etc.

ARDMS or equivalent, BLS

Physical Requirements:

?View electronic monitors for prolonged periods of time
