PET/CT Technologist

Location: Easton, Maryland (Includes 1 day/month float requirement to Queenstown, MD) Position Type: 13-Week Contract, Four 10-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, likely Mondays off, No Weekends) Salary: $3,255 – $3,615 / week (Gross, depending on experience) Start Date: 8/3/2027 Are you an experienced PET/CT professional looking for a highly competitive weekly rate and a consistent daytime schedule in a premier healthcare setting? We are seeking a skilled PET/CT Technologist for our prestigious imaging client in Maryland. In this role, you will operate assigned scanners to produce critical diagnostic images primarily focusing on oncology, PSMA (prostate), and Brain/Bisimal (Alzheimer's) scans while guiding patients through the process with care and empathy. Key Responsibilities PET/CT Imaging Operations: Perform routine and advanced PET/CT procedures on designated portions of the body with minimal supervision or repeat scans, supporting a high-standard imaging environment (department goal of 18 scans/day with 3 techs). Patient Care & Education: Guide patients through complex procedures by screening for contraindications using two patient identifiers, explaining exam steps, positioning patients correctly, and providing continuous support and reassurance to address questions or concerns. System & Equipment Utilization: Utilize state-of-the-art equipment (Siemens Trinion) and maintain precise documentation across electronic systems (Fuji Snaps and EPIC EHR). Operational Flexibility: Maintain clinical standards and mandatory requirements while working collaboratively alongside the healthcare team, including fulfilling a once-a-month float requirement to an additional local site in Queenstown, MD. Schedule: Four 10-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, likely Mondays off) Floating Requirement: Includes floating 1 day per month to Queenstown, MD Dress Code: Any color scrubs, closed-toe shoes, and a lab coat (not provided by client) Qualifications & Skills Required Certifications: ARRT (R) or (CT) AND NMTCB (Nuc Med) or ARRT (N) required. Active Maryland State License (or willing to obtain prior to start). Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) / Basic Life Support certification. Education: Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of Radiography. Experience: 3–5 years of experience performing PET/CT procedures independently is preferred.
