Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Administrator to manage and support PeopleSoft environments across development, test, and production landscapes.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with PeopleSoft installation, configuration, administration, upgrades, patching, environment refreshes, security, performance tuning, and production support . The role will ensure high availability, stability, security, and performance of enterprise PeopleSoft environments.

Key Responsibilities

Environment Administration

Install, configure, and maintain PeopleSoft environments across development, QA, and production.
Administer Application Servers, Web Servers, Process Schedulers, Integration Gateways, and PeopleSoft Search Framework .
Perform environment refreshes, cloning, configuration management, and troubleshooting.
Manage domain startup, shutdown, configuration, and server health.

Upgrade & Maintenance

Perform PeopleTools upgrades, PUM image maintenance, patching, and security updates .
Work with Change Assistant, Change Packages, DPKs, and retrofit deployments.
Plan and coordinate maintenance windows, backups, and production releases.
Follow change-management and environment-control procedures.

Performance & Monitoring

Monitor system health, resource utilization, application performance, and batch processing.
Troubleshoot application and server performance issues.
Perform SQL and application/server tuning.
Analyze logs, caching, and Performance Monitor (PMU) data.
Support load balancing and batch-performance optimization.

Automation & Scripting

Automate administrative tasks using Unix/Linux shell scripting .
Develop scripts with appropriate logging, error handling, and scheduling.
Manage scheduled jobs using cron, AutoSys, Control-M , or similar enterprise schedulers.

Security & Production Support

Administer PeopleSoft users, roles, permission lists, and access controls.
Support LDAP/SSO integrations and security audits.
Provide L2/L3 production support and resolve technical incidents.
Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures.
Support disaster recovery and business continuity activities.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
4+ years of PeopleSoft Administration experience .
Strong hands-on experience supporting complex enterprise PeopleSoft environments.
Experience with PeopleSoft installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and production support.
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
