Behavioral Health Intake Specialist As a Behavioral Health Intake Specialist, you are often the first point of connection for individuals seeking support, and that first interaction matters. This role plays a key part in shaping each client's experience from the very beginning, helping them feel heard, supported, and confident in what comes next. You will guide individuals and families through the intake process with empathy and clarity, completing screenings, using clinical judgment to assess needs, and coordinating care with a multidisciplinary team. Your work ensures each client is connected to the right level of care at the right time, creating a strong foundation for their treatment journey.
