What You’ll Do

• Conduct inpatient consults and manage outpatient cardiology cases
• Read EKGs and echocardiograms, supervise stress testing
• Manage patients with coronary artery disease, hypertension, and heart failure
• Collaborate with support staff including APPs, RNs, and medical assistants
• Support hospital rounding needs and provide consultative care
• Document patient interactions accurately in the EPIC EMR system
• Provide telephonic call coverage as part of on-call responsibilities

What You Need

Required:

• Valid Illinois medical license
• Board certification in Cardiology or General Cardiology
• BLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical cardiology experience

Preferred:

• Experience managing adult cardiac conditions in a hospital setting
• Ability to read EKGs and echocardiograms proficiently
