We offer competitive pay and benefits, and well-being programs to support you and your family.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesCarry out accurate analyses using standard test methods and deliver timely, reliable dataOperate analytical instruments (balances, ovens, wet chemistry tools, tensile testing equipment, and more)Keep laboratory equipment calibrated and functioning at peak performanceRecord results in lab logbooks, worksheets, and information systemsVerify data to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standardCollaborate with engineers and managers to communicate findingsDocument, investigate, and help resolve nonconformance issuesIdentify and troubleshoot abnormal inspection results or equipment inconsistenciesConduct Measurement System Analysis to support data integrityMaintain a clean, organized, and safe lab environmentFollow all safety policies and promote safe work habitsTrain new team members on QC test methods and proceduresMonitor supply inventory and initiate reorders as neededContribute to additional project work as assignedEducation and LicensureBachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Physics, or similar; ORAssociate degree in chemical technology (or equivalent) with 1+ year QC lab experience; ORHigh School diploma with 3+ years of QC lab experienceSkills, Experience and QualificationsRequired Skills, Experience, and QualificationsDue to federal contract security requirements, candidates must be able to successfully pass a federal background investigation to secure and maintain DOE Q security clearance if required.Due to federal contract security requirements, this position requires U.S. Citizenship.Successful candidates will be able to perform the essential functions of the job with reasonable accommodation.
