The position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience. First-timers will be accepted with clinician's approval. The nurse will be required to work 2 weekends every 6 weeks. The role includes floating between like units as needed. Local candidates are welcomed to apply. The nurse must have experience with the required charting system. Preferred experiences include working in community hospitals, long-term acute care, and trauma centers. The candidate will be responsible for care coordination and discharge planning. Experience in managing benefits eligibility is necessary. The role involves organizing and participating in family meetings. The candidate must be competent in arranging durable medical equipment and transport. Strong skills in utilization review and adhering to evidence-based guidelines are essential. The candidate should have experience in patient assessments and determining medical necessity. All applicants must have current work history within the last 2 years.
