Akkodis is seeking a PC Support Technician for a Contract opportunity with a client in Poway, CA (onsite).

Terms:

Rate Range: $25/hour to $30/hour (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)

Job Summary:

Seeking a PC Support Technician to provide onsite, remote, and phone-based technical support for enterprise users. The role will handle hardware/software troubleshooting, workstation deployments, equipment refreshes, and user support in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, troubleshoot, repair, and replace PCs, laptops, monitors, docking stations, printers, scanners, and mobile devices.
• Support Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office 365, Linux, and Mac OS.
• Perform imaging, workstation deployments, software installations, upgrades, and equipment refreshes.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, printing, connectivity, and peripheral issues.
• Manage ServiceNow tickets, document resolutions, and escalate issues when needed.
• Maintain asset/inventory records and coordinate warranty/vendor repairs.
• Provide professional customer service and support users with varying technical skills.
• Safely move and install equipment up to 50 lbs.

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of enterprise PC support experience.
• Associate degree in IT/Computer Science or equivalent experience with CompTIA A+.
• Strong hardware/software troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with Windows 10+, Office 365, imaging, deployments, and equipment refreshes.
• Basic Linux and Mac OS support experience.
• Valid California Driver’s License.
• Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
