We are hiring a Full-Time Class A Bobtail Driver for a Temp-to-Hire opportunity in Ontario, CA , working Monday through Friday on the day shift . In this role, you'll operate a bobtail truck for local deliveries, primarily transporting steel products while following DOT regulations, maintaining a strong safety record, and ensuring accurate, on-time deliveries.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A bobtail truck for local deliveries.
- Transport steel and other assigned materials following DOT and company safety standards.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Follow delivery routes, schedules, and deadlines.
- Complete delivery documentation and provide professional customer service.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of Class A bobtail driving experience .
- Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
- Ability to drive a manual (stick shift) transmission.
- Strong time-management skills and attention to safety.
- Ability to lift, load, and secure materials as needed.
