HVAC- Test & Balance Estimator

We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented Test & Balance Estimator to support estimating and bidding for commercial and industrial HVAC Test & Balance projects. This role works closely with estimators, project managers, field teams, contractors, and clients to review project requirements, prepare accurate estimates, and develop professional proposals.

The ideal candidate is dependable, comfortable managing multiple deadlines, and willing to learn the HVAC Test & Balance industry. This position also includes client interaction, project meetings, site visits, and developing relationships to identify new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review construction plans, specifications, mechanical schedules, and bid documents.

• Assist with HVAC Test & Balance estimates, quantity takeoffs, labor, and equipment requirements.

• Prepare estimates, proposals, bid forms, and supporting documentation.

• Track bid opportunities, deadlines, submissions, and follow-ups.

• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, clients, project managers, and field personnel.

• Attend client meetings and site visits to discuss project requirements and opportunities.

• Build and maintain professional relationships with clients and industry contacts.

• Maintain organized estimating records, spreadsheets, and project files.

• Assist with project coordination and estimating-related administrative duties.

• Develop knowledge of HVAC systems, Test & Balance procedures, construction practices, and terminology.

Ideal Candidate:
Organized, professional, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects and deadlines. Strong communication and relationship-building skills are important for success in this role.

Base Salary: $41,600+ (can be higher depending on with experience)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (Full-Time).
