-Location: Waikiki (Honolulu, HI)

-Employment Job Type: Full-time

-Position: Custodian

-Schedule: Sunday to Thursday, variable hours (40 hours per week)

-Hourly Pay Rate: $17.00

-Key Responsibilities:

-Maintain the cleanliness of common areas within the building: Sweep, mop, dust (low and high areas), wipe down, and sanitize surfaces; empty trash receptacles/cardboard recycling; and dispose of waste in the designated areas.

-Commitment to maintaining a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants is a vital quality for this role.

Clean restrooms, elevators and escalators.

Maintain a pristine parking garage and the surrounding areas across multiple levels.

Clean or spot-clean common area furniture

Remove gum from floors

Clean glass surfaces

Work independently while maintaining team communication

Respond to hotline calls via 2-way radio

-Skills and Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Must pass prescreen check.

Previous custodial or cleaning experience preferred.

Capable of performing tasks in any type of weather.

Willingness to learn and undergo training for the role.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.

Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively.

Good communication in English and teamwork skills.

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.

Physically capable of carrying, lifting, pushing, pulling a minimum of 25 pounds up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods, and performing tasks such as stretching, kneeling, bending, crawling, climbing and pressing.
