divh2Clinical Practice Liaison/h2pUnited Therapeutics seeks to travel down the corridors of indifference to develop treatments for rare, deadly diseases. We were founded in 1996 by a family seeking a cure for their daughters pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). Today, we have six FDA-approved therapies that treat PAH, pulmonary hypertension associated with interstitial lung disease (PH-ILD) and neuroblastoma, a rare pediatric cancer. Our near-term pipeline seeks to develop additional therapies for PAH and pulmonary fibrosis (PF). The cure for end-stage life-threatening diseases like PAH, PH-ILD, PF, and many others is an organ transplant, but only a small percentage of donated organs are available to address the vast need. For this reason, we are working to create manufactured organs to address the shortage of kidneys, hearts, lungs, and livers available for transplant./ppThe Clinical Practice Liaison (CPL) will serve as a regional clinical and scientific resource to pair the changing needs of nurses/advance practice providers (APPs) and MDs with available United Therapeutics resources and information. The CPL will be responsible for clinical exchange with thought leaders, education on company products and disease states of interest, responding to requests for information, and clinical in-services./ppMinimum Requirements:/pulliMasters Degree in nursing or physician assistant studies with 6+ years of relevant experience/lili3+ years of advanced clinical experience in lung disease (ILD/IPF/COPD/PH-ILD)/liliPA - Physician Assistant or CNP - Certified Nurse Practitioner/liliExpert clinical knowledge with strong teaching, presentation, facilitation and instructional skills/liliAdvanced clinical knowledge of Interstitial Lung Disease or PH ILD/liliExcellent verbal and written communication skills, including scientific and medical information with a diverse audience of both internal and external personnel in small and large setting/liliStrong team, planning, and organizational skills/liliStrong strategic acumen and ability to translate complex data into clinically relevant information/liliSelf-starter with high motivation and energy/liliAbility to work independently and adjust effectively to work within new processes or requirements/liliPerformance driven with ability to set high standard of performance for self and others/liliAble to multi-task and prioritize with excellent time management/liliProficient in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)/liliExcellent at relationship building and collaboration internally and externally, along with a flexible and adaptable mindset/liliDriver License, Valid and in State/liliAbility to travel up to 60%/li/ulpThis position will require candidates to live within the assigned territory of Connecticut, Washington DC, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Virginia, Vermont, Wisconsin, or West Virginia. The salary range for this position is $140,000 - $200,000 and reflects our good-faith estimate of the compensation for this role at the time of posting. An employees position within the salary range will be based on factors such as education, qualifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business needs, as well as other factors permitted by law at the time of posting.
