Operations Finance Mgr

Position Overview The Operations Finance Manager provides enterprise‑level financial and operational performance leadership, ensuring campuses achieve consistent, sustainable results through disciplined KPI management, labor optimization, and targeted intervention. The role strengthens decision making by supplying real‑time financial insights, driving cross‑functional alignment, and leading high‑impact initiatives that improve revenue, cost structure, and operational efficiency. Through structured governance and scalable processes, the manager elevates organizational performance and builds long‑term operational capability. Roles and Responsibilities Lead and support end‑to‑end project management activities, including project planning, timelines, stakeholder coordination, risk identification, and progress tracking to ensure on‑time and accurate delivery. Partner with cross‑functional stakeholders to drive projects from concept through implementation, ensuring scope alignment, clear communication, and effective issue resolution throughout the project lifecycle. Lead the development and execution of campus‑level financial optimization strategies across campuses. Identify performance gaps in revenue, labor, and operating expenses and recommend solutions. Work with operations leadership to implement corrective action plans and drive improvement efforts. Drive consistency in financial performance across campuses, divisions, and regions and strengthen alignment. Monitor financial and operational KPIs to flag underperforming campuses and trigger interventions. Coordinate cross‑departmental support for focus campuses based on survey and performance needs and ensure follow‑through. Oversee expense and payroll performance, including labor cost, overtime, and HPPDs, and optimize resource use. Analyze payroll and labor data to identify inefficiencies and inform operational decisions. Support operational leaders in maintaining labor discipline while protecting quality of care and balancing priorities. Define and manage a standard KPI framework across the organization and ensure consistency. Translate KPI performance into insights and action plans that guide operational decisions. Provide real‑time financial insights to support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis and enhance decision support. Lead high‑impact operational initiatives focused on cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and process improvement and ensure measurable impact. Build scalable processes, tools, and reporting structures to support long‑term performance improvement and strengthen organizational capability. Support the development of analysts and future team structures as the function grows and advances team capacity. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education: Bachelor Degree Experience: 5–8 years Licenses and Certifications MBA degree preferred. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred. Physical Requirements Sitting, standing, bending, reaching, stretching, stooping, walking, and moving intermittently during working hours. Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. Must be able to maintain verbal and written communication with co‑workers, supervisors, residents, family members, visitors, vendors, and all business associates outside of the health campus.
