Shift: 12hr Night Shift (36) Shift Information: 1900-0730 Clinical Interviewing- Yes On Call, Call Back Requirements:  No call Weekend Rotation:  Weekend rotation: every third weekend (may potentially be pulled off weekend to support staffing needs during the week) Holiday Requirements:  Every other Holiday Floating Requirements : Could float to an area with ICU patients (holding area) If not needed, could potentially float to Kenosha. Would only float to ICU

About Facility

o 60 beds

o Level 3 Trauma

o Covid vaccine required

General Information

o Beds: 12

Experience: 2 years

o First-time traveler: Yes for day shift. For night, prefer travel experience, but will consider with several years experience

Patient Types:

o General ICU, Stroke, Sepsis, Pneumonia, post-surgical, CRRT.

o No ECMO

Patient Ratios:

o 1:2 up to 1:3 if patient is stepdown level

Required Certifications:

o BLS, ACLS, NIHSS

Skills required

o Experience with above patient types, experience with general ICU skills, art lines, cardiac and other critical drips, vents, bipaps, trachs, codes

Support on the Unit:

o 1-2 CNAs for unit, depending on census

o Charge nurse: reduced patient assignmen

o Phlebotomy: Yes

o IV/VAT Team: Yes

o Resource Nurse: Charge nurse

o RT: Yes

o Hospitalist: yes 24/7

o Intensivist on site 0700-1900, 7 days a week. EICU 24/7

o OT, PT, ST: Yes

Charting System/Equipment:

o EMR: Epic

o IV Pumps: Alaris

o Med Dispensing: Pyxis

Floating:

o Could float to an area with ICU patients (holding area) If not needed, could potentially float to Kenosha. Would only float to ICU

Orientation:

o NEO

o 2 12h shifts of unit orientation

Scheduling:

o Weekend rotation: every third weekend (may potentially be pulled off weekend to support staffing needs during the week)

o Can we approve time off: Can approve 2 shifts in contract, send manager approval for additional shift

o Will they be on call: No

o Holiday Expectations: Every other holiday

o Shift times: 0700-1900 or 1900-0700
