Job Title: Set Up Technician Job Description

As a Set Up Technician, you will be responsible for setting up and monitoring looms to ensure the production of high-quality fabrics. You will maintain and repair looms as needed, train personnel to develop technical skills, and collaborate with the Facilities Manager to meet production targets. Additionally, you will work alongside Health & Safety and Quality personnel to uphold the quality system's performance.

Responsibilities

• Set up and monitor looms to ensure fabric quality and optimum performance.
• Maintain and repair looms according to approved maintenance standards.
• Train and develop technical skills within the production environment.
• Collaborate with the Facilities Manager to meet production plan targets.
• Work with Health & Safety and Quality personnel to ensure effective quality system performance.
• Communicate maintenance schedules and breakdowns with production technicians.
• Advise on trends in loom breakdowns.

Essential Skills

• Experience in machine operating and inspection.
• Proficiency in machine setup and quality inspection.
• Computer control experience, including CNC.
• Strong mechanical skills and troubleshooting abilities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in a production environment, preferably with machines or stitching.
• Associate Degree preferred.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $39520.00 - $41600.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
