Qualifications & Experience:

• Active SLP license to practice in Virginia
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• Experience working in school settings with K-12 students preferred
• Solid understanding of IEPs, assessment procedures, and evidence-based therapy techniques
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational abilities
• Compassionate, student-centered approach and a collaborative mindset

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy to students across grade levels (K-12)
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and participate in eligibility meetings
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
• Track student data and progress, keeping accurate records and timely documentation
• Foster inclusive learning environments that are supportive and engaging
