Product Designer, Bumble Date

As a Product Designer focused on our flagship Date product, you’ll help reimagine what modern dating can feel like: safe, joyful, intuitive, and deeply human. Working closely with Product Managers, Engineers, User Researchers, and fellow designers, you’ll create thoughtful experiences that empower people to build meaningful relationships with confidence.

You’ll join a team that champions craft, collaboration, and continuous learning. What you'll Do

• Design end-to-end user experiences, owning customer journeys, interaction design, and visual design from early concepts through polished implementation
• Translate product strategy, customer insights, and research into intuitive interaction models, high-fidelity designs, and prototypes that clearly communicate design intent
• Collaborate with UXR, PMs, and engineers throughout the design process while actively contributing to discovery, synthesis, and iteration with an open, curious mindset
• Build with intention: consider not just how something looks, but how it feels, how it behaves, and what it communicates to the people who use it
• Contribute to shared UX patterns and design system components, helping to raise the bar for consistency and craft across the product
• Use AI-powered tools thoughtfully to accelerate exploration, prototype ideas, and personalize experiences responsibly
• Present and defend your design decisions clearly, articulating how your choices connect to user needs, product goals, and Bumble’s values
• Embrace feedback with curiosity, iterate with intention, and bring a growth mindset to every stage of the design process

About You

• Typically requires 3+ years of experience, though we welcome candidates with alternative backgrounds that demonstrate equivalent skills
• You have strong visual and interaction design skills and your work is considered, polished, and reflects a genuine care for craft
• You’re developing strong product thinking: you ask “why” before you jump to “how,” and you’re actively building the instincts to connect design decisions to outcomes
• You work well in cross-functional teams and are collaborative, clear in your communication, and generous with your thinking
• You’re proficient in Figma and modern prototyping tools, and you approach new methods and technologies with openness
• You treat inclusive design and accessibility as fundamentals, not afterthoughts
• You take ownership seriously: you follow through, communicate proactively, and bring a proactive, accountable mindset to your work
• You embody Bumble’s values of Joy, Courage, and Curiosity, using design to build products that foster empathy and connection

Final Compensation

Will be determined based on factors such as the selected candidate’s qualifications, relevant experience, skill set, and other job-related considerations.
