You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to alarms, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and guests at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, entry and exit points, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, employee, and contractor credentials in accordance with site-specific access-control procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to site procedures.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift handoff communications while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
