Sterile Processing TechnicianWe are seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to join our surgical services team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reprocessing of surgical instruments and equipment. Responsibilities include cleaning equipment, high-level disinfection, and sterilization procedures. Candidates should have experience with case cart assembly and equipment documentation. Knowledge of proper selection of wrapping materials and sterilization wrapping procedures is essential. This position requires an understanding of biological and chemical indicators, as well as steam sterilization testing and monitoring. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to follow established protocols and maintain a sterile environment. Rotating weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts are required.
