Real Estate Litigation Associate

About the Role

We are seeking a Real Estate Litigation Associate Attorney with 1–4 years of civil litigation experience to join a well-established and respected law firm in Winter Park.

This role offers hands-on litigation experience, direct client exposure, and the opportunity to work on a variety of real estate and civil dispute matters in both state and federal court.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle real estate and civil litigation matters from inception through resolution
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and legal memoranda
• Conduct legal research and support case strategy development
• Take and defend depositions
• Attend hearings, mediations, and court appearances
• Manage multiple active litigation files with supervision as needed
• Work closely with partners and senior attorneys on case strategy

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active membership in the Florida Bar (required)
• 1–4 years of civil litigation experience
• Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
• Experience with discovery, motions, and depositions preferred
• Ability to manage deadlines and multiple matters in a fast-paced environment
• Professional, detail-oriented, and client-focused

Preferred (Not Required)

• Prior real estate or property litigation experience
• Experience in state and/or federal court litigation
• Judicial clerkship or law firm litigation experience
