Sales Manager [Germany]

Zhejiang Deman Machine Co., Ltd.

  • Completed commercial or technical vocational training, ideally with experience in technical sales, mechanical engineering, or the trade of spare and wear parts.
  • Proven experience in customer support, telephone sales, and cold calling—ideally in a B2B environment.
  • Confident use of CRM systems, as well as routine use of email and telephone as core sales tools.
  • Strong communication skills, enjoyment of phone-based interaction, and a persuasive, service-oriented demeanour.
  • Independent, structured, and results-driven working style with a high degree of initiative.
  • Fluent German and English (written and spoken). DEMAN is a world-leading manufacturer of professional flat glass processing machinery. Our comprehensive product range includes everything from alone-standing grinding and washing machines to fully automated production lines, serving customers in the glass industry worldwide.
As a Sales Manager, you are the heart of our office-based sales team. You will handle active customer outreach by phone and digitally, qualify inquiries, and independently drive the sales process for machinery, spare parts, as well as grinding and polishing tools. Your work environment is structured and involves minimal travel.
  • Office-Based Sales & Customer Support: Proactively acquire and support existing and new customers via telephone and email. You will be the first point of contact for customer inquiries and maintain long-term customer relationships in remote sales.
  • Telephone Prospecting & Lead Qualification: Conduct targeted cold calls to identify new business opportunities. You will qualify inquiries and convert leads into concrete sales opportunities.
  • Sales of Machinery, Spare Parts & Tools: Independently prepare quotes and process orders for the entire product mix—from complete machines to spare parts and grinding/polishing wheels. The focus is on efficient online and telephone sales.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Closely coordinate with the field sales team and the technical department to clarify complex inquiries and provide customers with seamless support.
